Terms & Conditions

Please ensure you have read, understood, and accepted these conditions of booking prior to signing and returning the Clinical Skills Academy booking form. By submitting the completed form, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted them, therefore agreeing to a contract with a commitment to the booking. Once we have received the completed booking form, you will receive written confirmation of your booking. If you receive a confirmation and did not contact us, please call us as soon as possible on 0203 974 6950.

Provision of Training

Wren Healthcare Clinical Skills Academy provide theory-based training and classroom based practical skills training. Wren Healthcare will not provide any clinical sign off or assess the practical competency of its learners. All training must be competency assessed and signed off by an appropriately qualified mentor with practice, ensuring the guidelines of accountability and delegation are considered.

Training Course Adjustments

Once we have received your enquiry, we will assign an educator experienced in the topic(s) you have selected, ensuring your training is facilitated at the highest standard. This means that we are not always able to adjust training course topics at short notice. If you require a change of topic, we ask that you provide at least 15 working days’ notice, this change may result in a change of educator and/or date of training. We reserve the right to reject any course adjustment requests.

Intellectual Property

Wren Healthcare shall retain ownership of all Intellectual Property Rights relating to training course contents.

Equipment

Wren Healthcare Clinical Skills Academy will supply all equipment (if necessary) in good working order at time of transfer. By signing and returning the Clinical Skills Academy booking form, you accept responsibility for the safe storage and transfer, or any/all equipment supplied by Wren Healthcare. You will remain liable for the equipment for the duration they are in your care. Any damage or loss of goods will be chargeable. Once returned to Wren Healthcare, equipment will be inspected for any damage or faults. If any damage/faults are found, you will be contacted.

Cancellation

Irrespective of whether course fees have been paid, cancellation fees will apply once the Clinical Skills Academy booking form has been signed and returned.  Cancellations must be provided in writing to csa@wrenhealthcare.co.uk.

The following cancellation terms apply:

COVID-19 Cancellation

Where possible, Wren Healthcare Clinical Skills Academy will make every effort to accommodate reasonable adjustments to the provision of training sessions if delivery is impacted by COVID-19. Where possible, we will accommodate training at another site provided by you, within the same location. Alternatively, we will attempt to facilitate training via virtual delivery and have the necessary equipment posted to your chosen site. We may also allow the transfer of individual learners onto an Open Training Course at no extra fee, if appropriate. Where these adjustments are not available, the below COVID-19 cancellation terms will apply.

If your reason for cancellation is due to the impact of COVID-19, please advise Wren Healthcare Clinical Skills Academy ASAP via email.

Methods of Payment

Payment of the course fees should be made immediately after receiving an invoice. Payment can be made by cheque payable to Wren Healthcare Ltd, by credit/debit card or bank transfer.

All invoices are due within 30 days of receipt and must reach us by the training course start date.  Late payments may incur a late payment charge of 8%. If payment cannot be made within this timescale you must contact us in writing to let us know.
