Home Nursing for clinical Trials

Our Home Trial Support service increases retention and participation in clinical trials, whilst also providing a positive patient experience, by reducing the burden of sites visits for patients and their families.

Our team of specialist homecare nurses are able to visit a patient during a clinical trial and conduct aspects of the study in the home, leading to a more community-based clinical trial model. We have an experienced team of GCP qualified registered nurses with a sound cross therapy background within multiple specialities.

Our service enables a range of protocol and procedures to be conducted in the patient’s home, from collecting blood samples to administering complex IMP’s via infusions. Our nurses cover a broad spectrum of therapy areas and are trained in the protocols and requirements of the study as well as ICHGCP.

Some of therapy areas include:

  • Oncology
  • Rare Diseases
  • Respiratory disease
  • Haematology
  • Anti–Infectives
  • Endocrine
  • Immunology
  • Musculoskeletal
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Intestinal Failure
