A Rapid Antigen test looks for the presence of specific proteins called antigens based on the surface of the virus from a nose or throat swab sample.
It is not as sensitive as the PCR test and should be used as part of your COVID-19 testing strategy.
These tests have a sensitivity of 93.3% and specificity of 99.4%
The Rapid Antigen Test is much quicker in delivering results than a PCR test.
Your results will be ready within 15-20 minutes after your sample has been applied to the device.
You will receive a document showing the results of your test, the time the sample was taken and the time the results were given.
Unfortunately, we are not performing tests for those who have symptoms of COVID-19.
