A rapid antigen test looks for the presence of specific proteins called antigens based on the surface of the virus from a nose or throat swab sample.
A simple nasal swab is taken and applied to the lateral flow device. Results are then provided within 15 minutes. Please watch our video below on how to take a rapid antigen test.
Unfortunately, we are not performing tests for those who have symptoms of COVID-19.
The Rapid Antigen Test is much quicker in delivering results than a PCR test.
Your results will be ready within 15-20 minutes after your sample has been applied to the device.
Your fit to fly certificate will be made available in your Recova portal for you to download after your negative result allowing you to travel internationally.
Once you have your lateral flow test kit you dial into your virtual appointment (video call) with one of our trained testers who will oversee you taking the test.
After 15 minutes you will receive a fit-t0-fly certificate to allow you travel if you test negative.
Yes you will receive this certificate shortly after your negative result. You will be notified by email when your result is ready in your Recova portal.
